Only use bombs when needed: Ok not just bombs should be used when needed portals should also be used when needed, these powerups are harmless to the user so in a game where hitting spikes causes you to lose points it is essential to keep the things that don't kill the user. 3. Try to fill in most of the space after hitting bombs: How I like to play the game is to start at one of the longer sides of the screen (for laptops and tablets start at the right or left and for phones start at the top or bottom). This is because you have an escape to go to when moving and it helps clear the screen when the user fills the screen FUN FACT if you go to every space it clears the screen and gives points. 4. Don't hit portals when there are not many open areas: Portals teleport you to another location so if there are not many open locations statistically you will be teleported to a bad area and subsequently lose the game. Its best to use them in the beginning of the game or when less than half the screen is full. 5. Try to hit the yellow stars: When you see the yellow star and you have the option to hit it please do this gives points. However, don't compromise any of these tips. 6. Try to fill in one side of the screen at a time: This tip is very important because this helps ensure that most of the screen gets filled so you dont get trapped too frequently allowing the user to clear the screen without the need of a bomb. 7. Keep track of the move amounts: Keep track of the move gap of the player. The game always goes from a gap of 1 to a gap of 2 and vice versa use this to your advantage to plan out routes. 8. Don't go into areas enclosed on all sides: This seems like self explanatory advice but it happens more than you think. Try to stay in areas where you have an escape. 9. Take a few seconds to strategize: I know this will sound very cliche but it helps just stay patient. If you notice that the surrounding area is becoming dense, take a few seconds to plan your escape to avoid (pun intended) the spikes and out of bounds walls. 10.
